I bought the white 86 in a town called Belgrade, Missouri. A town of 102 residents, with no cell phone reception, from a guy who didnt believe in TV or cell phones, has an old home phone that as he said, "I only go near it once a day, if someone wants to talk to me, they come find me." Very disconnected from the real world, which I cant really blame him and kind of like myself.
I tried to buy it off the guy I mentioned about 2 years ago. It had ~60k miles and all original, but he said he did not want to sell it yet. Almost identical to your truck.

I'd just keep the one you got. Ask anyone else building a truck on here. Keep it and drive it.

          Damn nice!!

I have owned 3 in my years. Seeing the value of these things now makes me wish I would have kept them.

Here are the ones I have owned thru my years.

This 83 and I had many adventures and a couple motors thru its life too. Solid truck that took me from MT to OR multiple times, all the way to CO and back to MT..LOVED this truck.

This 80 was my first SWB Chevy

And this 84 was my last one

Plus chevy has always been the po' boy special. Ford is too damn proud of their stuff, even their parts for old shit they don't make anymore. That's been my experience anyway. Although I would like to do up an older ford truck. Some of them look better than certain chevys if done right.

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

I hope that's how you bought them, not how you drove them, with the exception of the top one. I do see a theme though, so perhaps you likes them how you likes them...

You put an unnecessary comma in that sentence.

You don't want to go there.

                              That's just your opinion, Asser64.

I cannot believe how popular and expensive these trucks are getting. Im hoping to sell this white one soon and take the profit to buy one I can and dont mind modifying a little. Ulitimately I'd like to swap an LS2 or LS3 into one and this white one was just too nice to do that to imo.
There is one on the college station Craigslist. Hell, there is a K10 swb and a k5 blazer in a self storage lot across from our neighborhood. The K10 is a step side with steel rallies and just teases me constantly because I want the wheels for my 87 V10 burban.
