I immediately laughed and pointed at my gut and asked if I looked like I was in the military. What reason to people really have to lie about being military? Had a customer at my old store in Lewisville that had "Army Ranger" tattooed on his arm. That's all, just the words. No insignia or anything. Meth head. I asked him once about being a Ranger and his response was "my stuff is classified. I can't tell no one about it."

Wouldn't have had a problem with it if he had not claimed to be military. I don't care if you wear part of the uniform, especially since it had no rank on it. I see people all the time wearing the pants, and fairly often with a m65 jacket or even the blouse and it doesn't matter to me if it was surplus or theirs from the service. I wear my m65 some during cool weather but I did sew all my wing and squadron patches on it from my different bases. Guess maybe I have a different outlook than most, I mean the uniforms can be bought in any gun show or surplus store easily, so as long as you don't lie about service I don't care.
