Reflex reaction. She lost a child a few months back, and flipped over the possibility of serious injury to the only one she has left.

You mean to tell me if you're minding your business sitting at a red light, and some car plows in to you at a high rate of speed you're not going to jump out and confront them? That wasn't an "accident". It was obvious at the moment of impact it was intentional. Combine that with him trying to run, and there you go.

You people are hilarious. If she sat there and did nothing, and the guy got away, you'd all be i nhere stroking your egos talking about how if that was you in that car, you'd have beat his ass or shot him. Can't win.

Completely understand her 'why'. But is that a defense for assault /road rage which I believe is now a felony?

I get not being charged, given the totality of the circumstances but if this was any of the other dozens of accidents that happens in the metroplex each day = she would /should be charged.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

On the radio this morning they interviewed her and from what I gathered she said it was apparent that the guy was going to run. He said "Fuck you guys I am out of here" or something like that. And she was like "Oh no you didn't!".

I'm sure that's what he said as she ran up to the door and shoved it against him as it opened.

On top of being hood trash, she's also a liar. I guess that's kind of redundant though.

She sounded like neither on the radio. I'm sorry the criminal had a rough day and that the bad lady engaged in vigilantism. She should learn to just stand around with her thumb up her ass waiting for the cops after someone ass ends her at 50 mph in a school zone. That is what I would do, stay in my vehicle with my hands at ten and two and refuse to make eye contact. Dumbass.

With eyes in the sky, why would they risk following closely at those kind of speeds and traffic?

Agreed, but I did not know air support was utilized.

I know thats right. No one knows how one will act, but given the circumstances, I'm sure most of us would have done the same or more.

News choppers don't have direct police communication?

If you watch all footage, there were several officers involved, and at times were right behind him. At the particular moment of the crash, they were way behind him, yes. As I stated, probably due to the area which is always congested. Magnus makes a good point too about the ghetto bird.
My house and my office are within 2 miles of that intersection and I drive through it regularly. I serious doubt the cops were that far behind him because of traffic at that time of the day. Between Forest Lane and Walnut Hill there are only 4 lights and the only thing that may have slowed down the cops, but clearly not the robber, is the school zone at Forest Meadows. My guess is that when they got to that school zone, the robber had the pedal to the floor and the cops exercised a bit of restraint and kept it to a reasonable speed, and as a result, the robber picked up a bunch of distance between them.

Overall, no it's not the hood, but we have a few areas that are.
