Well, just a few days ago my neighbors mailbox got hit, now the security camera catches some guy just after he hits the telephone pole. I need another security camera just aiming at my neighbors front yard

thats my guess...he was pretty wobbly trying to stand on one foot. I watched most of the sobriety test from my neighbors front yard talking with all the other neighbors. Didnt seem like he did that well on the rest of it but Im not an expert

I know this is going to be expensive but. ..

Is there one that does a decent night vision, has a good zoom, records in 1080p, is weather proof, the whole package? Maybe even has a speaker on it somewhere that you could yell at people through. Whats the ultimate camera?

Im happy with the cameras I have. They are Hikvision 2032 i cameras. They make a 12mm lens camera that will be for long distance. They say you should be able to read a license plate at 35 feet or so. Neighbors mailbox is probably 75 feet from my camera. They make cameras and add on lenses for zoom distance. I saw online some PTZ cameras that will zoom from 3mm to 20mm or so.

These are the cameras I bought but in the standard 4mm lens. The good ole Chinese do have some good examples of zoom and mp

What DVR box do you use with those cameras ? The picture looks good on yours. I want to be able to see faces and read plates with a security camera.
