      they are standards, but yeah, most of the parts are interchangleable with the 69-up standard beetles.

                mexican bugs pop up now and then down here on CL... I figured a ~1995 bug might be in better shape than a 1975... to a little VIN magic on it and viola

                  here too. Most of the newer ones are fi, and obviously a ton newer. running gear is essentially the same.

                  Wish I could figure out how to get one of the south american transporters, they made them up until a few years ago in Brazil.
