The stock Ford Mustang GT is fast, but this one is something else altogether. It’s spent some time in the hands of the tuners at Bama Performance who have turned this beast into a monster of epic proportions.
What they created is currently the world’s fastest Mustang. Given how much of a dream this car is for tuners, there’s a good chance someone else will hit the track and beat this one if we just give it a little time. Right now, however, this 9.91 second quarter-mile time is the one to beat among 2015 Ford Mustang GTs.
This fastest Mustang hit a top speed of 135.41 mph on this run and had the help of some pretty extensive modifications. What did this Mustang get to make it so fast? It’s a long list that includes a Boss intake manifold, JLT cold air intake, Injector Dynamics ID1300 injectors, Boost-a-Pump, and, of course, a Nitrous Express Coyote Nitrous Kit Plate System.
There are also custom fabricated suspension parts and a Ford Racing light weight front bumper support to reduce overall weight. All these changes make a big difference compared to a stock 2015 Ford Mustang GT which will do the quarter mile in 12.8 seconds. Still fast, but not nearly as fast as this tuned version
