It's a fucking good thing people aren't over-sensitive these days. I'm certain this wasn't the only reason for pulling her daughter out, this might have been the last straw but you certainly don't have the full story.

Pulling kids out just because of that? Seems like a big overreaction to me. Scary costumes probably aren't the best idea around young kids, but this is only a once a year event. Seems to me having a conversation and sharing your opinion would have been sufficient.

My first take is that the abused baby from hell thing must be some sort of inside joke. Reason being that it is kind of creepy and isn't all that funny. I'm thinking there is more to the story.

Scary costumes around little kids isn't that great of an idea. Abused dead babies at a daycare? That is plain idiotic. I am not usually one to make a big deal out of stuff like that, but it does seem over the line to me. If they think abused dead babies are funny I wouldn't want them caring for my kids either.
