My guess is it makes the initial stop and the van pulls up with fifteen at-the-ready cops in beatdown mode.

These are state troopers. I've seen this van on this freeway patrolling on its own. They also have an F-250 with a camper shell and an SN95 Mustang. You can usually tell something is off because the windows are tinted more than the legal limit and a pod antenna.

That's actually on the handlebars. I'd like to put it on my helmet, but don't want to drill into the shell and don't trust adhesive. It's a good story teller if I am not capable of telling it on my own. There are too many lying shitbags.

Northern Virginia. Nation's worst police state/commonwealth.

I drove the coast from San Diego to San Francisco then through the Mojave back to San Diego. I saw more cops patrolling during the hour long commute from the airport to home at 2am than I saw during the entire trek in CA.

If it was clearly marked and had red-and-blues, yes. If it's unmarked or disguised as something else, no. I believe I would continue to my destination and/or get on the phone with 911 to verify that it was actually a policy vehicle...
