My truck was hit last week. Wasn't broken into because it was unlocked but they stole a backpack, all my change and a fresh can of snuff. At least there was no damage. You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

While I was waiting for the po po, I noticed there are a lot of sketchy looking people living in the Budget Suites next door. There's a lot of foot traffic across the parking lot. All they do is walk from there to the Valero across NW Hwy, buy something and walk back. The back section of the TL&C parking lot is in there direct walking path. So take that as a tip for anyone that eats there or at Humperdinks.

And I just found out that my auto policy doesn't cover personal belongings.... so I'm out a $60 backpack, two IT books, usb to serial cable, mini mag light, an external drive, and a fresh pack of gum, ....on top of my $500 deductible.
and my f'ng resume was on the drive. Do you know how long it takes to get that just right?? Shit!
