My truck was hit last week. Wasn't broken into because it was unlocked but they stole a backpack, all my change and a fresh can of snuff. At least there was no damage.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

I have a Clifford. I think its a 52X. Has remote start and other stuffs. I added the optional radar proximity sensor and the glass breakage sensor. If the truck has to give a warning (like someone is standing next to it too long or it gets smacked) it will alert me on my fob. So far it has worked at 2 miles but I am not sure that it has any more range than that.
Great system and can be found on ebay pretty cheap.

While I was waiting for the po po, I noticed there are a lot of sketchy looking people living in the Budget Suites next door. There's a lot of foot traffic across the parking lot. All they do is walk from there to the Valero across NW Hwy, buy something and walk back. The back section of the TL&C parking lot is in there direct walking path. So take that as a tip for anyone that eats there or at Humperdinks.

God Damnit.... I feel your pain man, same thing just last week. Of they get a hit, I might have them see if it was the same people that got my car. Same type of break in too... Entire window was on the ground and pried out and backpack taken.

I had my truck broken into, got my belongings back since the dumbass thieves ran off the road a half mile away and left the car with their day's loot in the back seat, but my ins agent didnt write my policy right...
