Because the guy on the inside pushed into it, unnecessarily. It's like trying to pass when you don't have a chance in a dirt track car, only he did it in a chicane, so they just got locked up.

I would have held on to my helmet in my hand and when that racer's buddy jumped down to start shit, clocked him with it. A few good sharp blows to the side of the driver even still in the helmet will ring bells pretty good lol.
