For all you snake lovers:
A SNAKE dropping from the ceiling is the last thing these Brisbane residents were expecting when they walked into their bathroom.
But after discovering the 2.2m visitor, they wasted no time getting a snake catcher on speed dial.
Bryan Robinson from Snake Advice and Relocation said the snake slithered into the home at The Gap by forcing the cover off a light fitting.
“Those covers have got ventilation on them so the snake could obviously see through it,” he said.
“Just the weight of the snake may have been enough to push the cover off, then the people have come through and spotted this thing hanging out of their ceiling.”
So much for a relaxing shower.
Surprise!
Mr Robinson posted the photo of the slippery intruder to his Snake Catchers Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Toowoomba Facebook page.
He said business is taking off for snake catchers as the the warmer weather arrives.
“Things are really starting to pick up. We’re getting a lot of carpet pythons in roofs that are fighting and we’re getting quite a bit of increased snake activity as they’re charging around looking for extra food,” he said.
