Supposedly those cars were easy targets by theives who would break the steering column and drive off. I would address that issue first before getting any small detailed stuff.

Not to mention, a 5yr old kid can pull hard enough on the top of the glass to reach in and unlock the door.

They stopped offering the 6.6 in '79. '80 either had a 301 Poncho (with or without turbo) and an automatic, or the 305 Chevy if you wanted a 4 speed manual.

Too bad it doesn't have T-tops. Kudos for getting the WS6 wheels though. Does it actually have 4 wheel disc brakes?

Awesome car! Love the 20" version they have of the wheels now a days to give that ever so little bit of modern look along with the ls1.


Just noticed it doesnt have t-tops, sell it now. I started a 77 build many moons ago thinking i would be ok with the hard top but it just didn't have the right look.
