Well, I felt left out with everyone else showing off their rides. I thought my next ride would be something with power and more fun to drive. However, I also thought I wouldn't have any more major problems with my s-10 for a while. After losing power Friday, spending Saturday morning trying to diagnose, and Saturday afternoon looking for something else, I decided fuel mileage was the way to go. I found a 2013 civic coupe in Rockwall with 26k miles. I walked out paying 2k below retail before T's and fees. I feel like it was a good decision. Should get 35-40 mpg driving 95% highway. So the money saved on fuel will offset a good bit of the payment.
I need to get the paint tended to, it has the typical swirls and some scratches. I wish it had been white or gray, black is a lot of maintenance to keep it looking good, time to get back in the habit of regular washes and interior detailing. A good buff and it will be good to go. Maybe a set of wheels when the tires wear out, it looks like they put brand new tires on it.
First mod on the list will be custom cowskin seat covers so I can show off my $$$CHOO CHOO$$$
