Same thing happened at my house last summer. He smelled the mouse i had in my garage for a few days. I cut the board off and let it go in the creek near by. The mouse i caught i let suffer and die.

Glue traps are fucking cruel. What a shitty, slow, painful way to die, even for its intended targets. They also catch birds, lizards, frogs, etc. Poison is bad, too. Get a real mouse trap if you have a rodent problem.

Spiders and crickets hate the glue traps I've got out far more than rats or snakes do.... although I have gotten 3 mice and 2 snakes so far this year.

But geez, at least have the fucking decency to put the animal out of its misery. Torturing the animal is just indicative of a serious psychological problem. The mouse didn't ask to be a mouse, why fucking torture it? Common sense: kill an animal if you have to, but do not torture it to death.
