I've been to Lake Oroville a few times in the last 2 years, it's not at all suspect, the lake is really that low and getting worse.

We drove through Napa and Sonoma on the way to the coast this past weekend, and it's downright depressing to see beautiful landscape turning so brown.

No kidding! That last pic is astounding.

Not just the lack of snow in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, but pay attention to the green that just goes away, in ONE YEAR. That's really really bad, considering so much food is grown in that region.

Lake Mead/Powell will be completely dry by 2020. Colorado and others north of us haven't fared any better. The entire country could use a seriously long and wet winter.

I got 3" of rain at my house last year. And 90% of that came in a 3 day span. Shit, you guys get more rain than that in one storm!

Yeah we're in a drought - but it could be MUCH worst. However, I think it's best to pretend it's horrible in an attempt to prevent it getting bad.

I have some personal experience with Lake Mead just because we go to Vegas somewhat regularly. I remember less than 10 years ago that lake being completely full.. it looks like a completely different place now.
