Man, one of these just popped up at a local scrap yard. Complete and looks like its been in a barn or covered up for a while. Hmm.

              Nice!

I love 70-72 a bodies. You got the good 8.5 ten bolt with the bolt in axles if it is original. You need a 2004r for hiway cruising with o/d. Definately needs a bbb.

Am I the only one who cant stand this gen Chevelle or GTO, but really dig the Buick and Olds? It's just something about the styling I guess.

ive read all the kenne bell articles about the 350 and it seems like the only thing wrong with the 350 is the stupid low compression and poor flowing heads. I might just try and get a set of heads ported and shaved to bump the compression up to 9-10 to 1 and i bet the car would feel 100% better. already has the aluminum intake and full exhaust. thatd be more cost effective then any other option (but id still buy a 455 in a heartbeat when i find one)

I like it, have yourself a nice driving project.

Sure beats a project you can't drive for the first year of ownership, imo.

No love for a GTO Judge?

As for the chevelle I guess I like quad headlights. I can take or leave 71-72 chevelles. Big Block(or 455 in Pontiac's case) make any of em good to me. Who can argue with a 455 cutlass sx?

Keep an eye on cl, they pop up pretty regularly. The blue 75-76 blocks are the saught after years but all will work. Check out trishield performance for some good articles on Buick specific engine tech. I'll see if I can find a link.

                          Uhhh. Hmmmm. <sig check>

I pretty much like all A-bodies, Olds being the least of the bunch unless its something like a W30....followed by the 71-72 Chevelles (just never cared for the single headlights or round tail lights in those cars). Otherwise it doesn't get any better than the 70' Chevelle or 70' GS IMO.

I had a 71 lark in high school. Cool car but engine parts can cost you an arm and a leg due to the lack of demand.

any recommendations on good texas based forums for A-body cars? maybe im just spoiled with dfw mustangs and ls1tech and all that but im having hell finding anything for a-bodies much less skylarks.
