What's the story on the 65/66 fastback? Is it a driver?
It's rusty 65. It runs, drives and stops. It does none of those well though. With a small amount of money and time it could be a solid driver though. I bought it to redo and update, but I'm slow to get started.
Knew a old couple in Midlothian that built a building like that and had a tiny apt made inside. They used it so they could have their house built next to it.
Have any of you seen these Garage Condo's lately? Check out AutoMotorplex. I've heard something like this is coming to DFW soon but even the starting prices are kinda ridiculous. I've seen some places that are $250K for 1500sq ft. One similar place is down in Houston called Garage Oasis has units that aren't nearly as nice going for over $88K for just under 1100st ft..
For those kinds of prices, it would seem to be much better to build and buy your own, so I can't quite figure out why these are popular.

"Fools and their money are soon departed." I would venture a guess that those with airplane money and/or collector car money are apt to pay a little more for the right building in the right location. I would think that these types of buildings would be cheaper to build, considering it's an empty shell, aside from the finished out apartment.
A friend of mine in Houston has a home/shop thing. The wall with the flag is the house, living quarters up stairs, kitchen on lower level and an office across from the breeze way. All connected to a massive shop.
