It clears, but required a highlift kit to be installed and a jack shaft opener. And in this picture the roof of the white car has about 1" of clearance before it hits the ceiling.

Just closer to the ceiling. Look a few pictures up and you'll see the garage door in the up position above the hood of the 4eye.

Nope it's a standard door with a high lift kit installed and a jack shaft opener. It goes up closer to the ceiling.

What do you do if the power goes out or the motor dies? On the regular openers you can pull the cord that disconnects the door from the track.

Same method. It has a pull cord to disengage the motor from the jack shaft.

We're looking to add on to make this one a 3 car with an apartment above it
