I kind of dig the copper plastidip centers. Didn't think I would. Hmmmm.

How are you liking the S6 avant; is there a lot more room than an A4 avant? I'm thinking of picking one up (have looked at slightly older S4's and 2011-2012 A4 Avants) since we will need something a little more family friendly in the coming few months.

I guess congratulations is in order. I'm happy for you. I like my car, but to be honest it's starting to feel a little dated, even with the updates I've made. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but man, the 2010+ are so much nicer. I suppose that's to be expected, but still. Size-wise it's been a while since I've had my B5 S4, so I honestly can't recall how much bigger it is, but I do remember thinking it felt much bigger when I first got this one. I do know there is much more foot room in the back seat, that's for certain.

I do still have it and don't think it hasn't crossed my mind although the offset is a little further in and the bolt pattern is off by a bit. I'm sure I could make it work if I tried hard enough.

Thank you! Last I knew you were TTC, too, so sending good & positive thoughts your way. Once we *officially* gave up and bought the new car with our IVF/adoption funds, it happened on it's own. I'll spare you the gory details, but after our years of difficulty and loss, this was a very, very welcome surprise.

We rented a 2013 A4 in Napa last month and decided we'd probably go with a 2012 A4 Avant if we wanted something closer to brand new, but we want to try and keep the 997, too, so may need to go find something less expensive up front. The A6/S6 Avant family looked like a great way to go and still retain some luxury.

Took the plastidip off and gave it a wash. A little less unique, but I still like it. I may do a different color next winter.
