  • Hertz to offer the Focus ST-H in America

Rice? Well, maybe a little, but honestly I dig the hell out of this little fucker. Great looking interior and badass seats, too. Few more pics in the link.

You better start learning how to drive a stick sooner than later, because the Focus ST-H is reportedly coming to America to shake up your rental experience with its golden wheels and stripes.

The 252 hp Focus ST-H has been available in Hertz's fleet in a few European countries since 2012, but according to Roger Garbow, it's also about to make its way to America with its six-speed manual, Recaro seats and all other goodies that make it so fun.

We all know that the fastest cars on the planet are always the rentals no matter what sort of engines they pack, but the Focus ST-H might just lead the way with its 2.0 EcoBoost.

We originally reported that Hertz would offer the ST-H in the United States based on misreading a Tweet. We were wrong. We're sorry and will do our best to get them to offer the ST-H since we got y'all excited. Redacted post below:

I would be thrilled if I could get into the 20MPG range. Lol. Unfortunately, there is not much out there that is full size (or even mid), with 4x4, that gets decent mileage.

I guess Hertz didn't learn their lesson in the 60's with burnt clutches in the Shelby's....

Cool ass little car though, I want one.

I like them but they are pretty small on the inside, and overpriced (used), IMO.

My son just left for college this past weekend, and Leah's son is going into 11th this year, so maybe once he has finished and gone to college. At that point we will just have Leah's daughter at home.

For now I want to make sure I have something that will comfortably fit 4 people and 2 decent sized dogs (65 and 85lbs). I am still considering downsizing some, but not quite that small.

I really like the FJ Cruisers but it really wouldn't improve my mileage enough to justify ditching the Suburban. And it's going to be really hard to give up the space.

The 4 door Tacoma wouldn't be too bad. I swapped truck with my Dad for the day a week or so ago and got 4 larger adults in it rather comfortably. I wouldn't discount the 4 runner though. The Fj is insanely overpriced for a 4X4, more so than a Tacoma.
