The funny thing is that if they did a stunt like that in that scene, everyone would have said how unrealistic it was. Lol.

I sent the video to a couple of coworkers who ride and one of them had a very similar accident. Except he ended up face-planting on the street rather than landing on his feet on the car.

I also remember one of my brothers talking about the same thing happening to him (rear-ending a car at high speed, but while getting on the fwy). He flew all the way over the car he hit and landed on the road. Cracked his helmet and had road rash down the whole side of his body, but walked away from it nevertheless. Fortunately for him he had a leather jacket and jeans on, or the road rash would have been far worse.
