I've always like Fenton wheels. But I read this a while back online and found it funny.
Fenton five-spoked wheels were inexpensive and not outstanding in any way in their day. Aaron Fenton was a marketing man, whose most notable accomplishments were taking over Don Edmunds' cylinder head and intake manifold company and then shortly thereafter ending all of its production, and providing cheap parts on time to department stores. Fenton wheels have as much prestige as a Spark-O-Matic shifter, and about as much class as your daughter's boyfriend. When the government pays, the government controls.

Y'all are obviously a little younger than me. Coming up through the mid to late 70's, cars like this were what you saw on a daily basis (albeit with sometimes really gaudy paint schemes). I doubt I'll change the ride height much, but if it's up there with just air shocks, that will have to change. Needs a much bigger tire in the back too, so at least a 275/60, possibly a 295/50, will find its way back there. If it can come down an inch or so after that, then I'll do it. I have no desire to have another Challenger, or any car for that matter, that looks like every other car on the road.

You like what you like, and nostalgia has value. I used to see a pair of 65-68 Mustangs on my way to work, one that had a nice level ride height, and the other that's shackled up with big wide tires on rear, and what looks like the factory size on the front. The paint is nicer on the shackled up one, though I would much rather have the other one."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford
