My favorite part of this video is the cops getting ahead of him and stopping, and you think "Okay, they're going to deploy spike strips" then one of the cops starts picking up rocks and throwing them at the truck as it drives by. Go figure this happened in a former Soviet state.
A trucker heading towards Baronovichi, Belarus, hauling a load of brand-new Fords, decided that a good way to pass the time on the road was to drink a whole bunch of vodka. You know how crazy it gets when you get five stars stealing a truck in Grand Theft Auto? This is even nuttier.
The chaos that ensued included not only attempts to ram other vehicles, but 80 rounds fired at the tires by the cops. Eventually, the cops got the trucker to stop by shooting out the fuel tanks, and waiting for it all to leak out, according to the local Intex-Press.
The driver, who survived, was arrested.
