First FAST car I got to ride in from my memory was a friend of my dads mid 70's DeTomaso Pantera with nitrous...and I think it may have had a turbo/supercharger. It was fast. REAL fast. That guy had several stupid fast cars according to my dad back in the 70's. Car was sweet.

First "fast" car I remember riding in that was driven fast was in a friend's dad's '66 Chevy II. He took us out for a quick spin and did a burnout in a parking lot. I think I was around 10 years old, so 1981. Soon after that experience I had my parents get me a subscription to Hot Rod magazine. Been a gearhead in one way or another ever since that experience.

Still remember the courseworker saying something that I had to be in a seat and not hanging on the roll cage.
Was a hoot.

My brother Chad had a lot of Mustang friends. For some reason I broke the mold and went with Imports at first.
I drove my Integra GS-R to my brothers friends house and he "had to run to the store" so he took me with him. It was a procharged 2002 GT. I don't think we maintained any sort of traction during the ride.
It was awesome. I think that is why I am now a 50/50 owner. I have one import and one muscle.

First fast car I rode in was a Ferrari 348 spider. Some rich Italian guy my brother knew. I remember going like 150ish on the hwy and being amazed at how everything felt. Feels way different when your that low to the ground. All smiles when I got backOriginally posted by YaleI want to give her a colonoscopy with my tongue.

First fast ride(s) I remember, when I was a little kid (in the 70's) my Dad had a 63' Galaxie, white with a red interior and a 4-spd on the floor....I can still remember the sound of it and watching him row through the gears with that big ole shifter....I had to sit on a pillow to see over the dash.
My Dad still has a picture of me standing next to that car, and you can see the 427 emblem right about the height of my shoulder. That one is his "1 that got away". Grand-Dad bought that car new and gave it to my Dad in the late 60's....he sold it in the late 70's when the fuel crisis hit.70' Chevelle RagTop

I have a pic of me with my mom and my brother from '68. I was around a year old, and mom was helping get dad staged in the Falcon. He won his class, and both of my bothers and I have been gear heads since around that time. I also sat in the Swamp Rat in '70 or '71. Good times.sigpic18 F150 Supercrew - daily
