      A couple of more updates:

Got the head put back on, which was surprising since I called Scoggin Dickey on Friday afternoon around 5pm inquiring about when I'd see my parts, they informed me that the bolts were on back-order and had just arrived so they'd send it out. Around noon on Saturday my the box arrived at my house. Granted they are in Lubbuck, but still, 19 hours for standard shipping is not too bad!

Got the exhaust mounted, ground clearance with the full 3.5in h-pipe is not so good, and unfortunately I had to do some pretty good trimming, hammering, etc. just to get it to fit at all. I figure with an h-pipe this big a little persuading via hammer wont affect flow too much.

Finished all the wiring inside the car, all the gauge sensors are wired in, the ignition, neutral safety switch, speakers, odbii port, etc. are all soldered, heat shrinked, and zip tied. God what a PITA wiring a whole car is!

Hopefully I am going to put in my order today for an anti-roll bar and some full length sub-frames (why these were not done when the roller was built I'll never understand).

      Here are some pictures:

Getting the h-pipe in there by myself required some finesse

Ground Clearance (or lack-thereof) at the collector:

      Ground Clearance at the muffler:

      Nice shot from the front:

Could probably manage to raise the coil-overs up a bit in the rear to give me some extra ground clearance (notice how tucked the 28's are):

Here is what the intake is going to look like with the modified rails:

Hopefully will have this thing running soon.

Why do these motors look like they belong?

it is strange, hell, if you get a driveshaft from an automatic, no only is the driveshaft the right length, the u-joint at the yoke is right too, you literally just have to swap yokes w/a 27 spline for th350.

figured out a way to run 'full flow fittings' at all ends (versus low-profile). had to source a low mount alternator bracket from a f-body and space it from the block (and drill/tap block for additional bolt hole). i then moved the regulator to the driver side of the engine to clear the water pump neck. all in all it makes for a much cleaner look. had to run the return line quite a ways to get back to the bulkhead, but oh well.

now i just need to get my sub-frame connectors in so i can get them welded up before i finalize my fuel lines (don't want to have to mess with welding up the sub-frames once I have fuel in the lines). oh, and i need to go ahead and modify my fuel cell before i fill it up with fuel as well.

Little update: switched out the truck intake for an ls6 unit. fuel lines are ran (sans leaky -12 fuel cell fitting that is on it's way from Summit). Trans is full of fluid, engine is full of fluid. Had to go to an 90* intake elbow w/a cone filter. Ditched the 6 inch extended cowl for a 2.5" cowl. Installed the full length MM subframe connectors, did a bunch of other stuff. Blah blah blah.

Car should (fingers crossed) start next weekend. We shall see! At least it looks like an LS engine now

Should be awesome, but I'll pick on a couple things.

You need a new radiator, or at least re-route the upper hose some how.

I'm guessing that's the heater core hoses you have looped together... is there a cleaner way of doing that?

I don't like the look of the blue fuel lines... and is that the fuel return line running over the passenger side header?

I can't wait to see how it runs, sweet ride!

didn't run it longer due to no coolant and I hadn't put the belt on yet. Started first try within a coupe of rotations. Will get it all buttoned up and hope to have a video of her maiden voyage this weekend.

I know, it was late, I had just gotten home from working out, and once it started I figured I'd throw in the towel and end on a high note

                                There will be more soon!
