Its such a good combo due to the fact that those fox bodies are lighter than an Fbody. That's the reason I sold my Fbody and picked up a 4banger notch. Doing the same swap myself. But keeping it carb for simplicity and cheaper.

If I were in your bro-in-law's shoes, I'd stick with the Windsor-based 351. Good Cleveland motors and parts are hard to find, and expensive.

                    LQ9? Coincidence?
Pretty self explanatory. This is how it was found a week later. The ins adjustor said it was one of the worst recoveries he'd seen. Taken from north Dallas (Marsh & The Bush) and found in midlothian.

And since I know on DFWMustangs I will be assumed guilty, here are a few reasons I know that this is not the same motor:

My brother in-law is a police officer, I don't buy anything (dirt bikes, motorcycles, car, engines, etc.) without him running the numbers.

I bought mine in July 2010 (you can find the early build thread on the other site. (http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=419750) You can see my first engine shots were posted at the beginning of August.

And notice mine still has the manifolds in the original picture of the motor (with the accessories), and since I am the guy who took them off I can pretty well guarantee you that they had never been off the motor unless someone was very thorough about making it look factory (and that recovery pic clearly shows the manifolds were left, seemingly the only part that was).

Oh, and Santa...I mean Summit made an early delivery.

With the exception of the water pump (still gotta decide what I want to do about it, probably gonna run with a 2010 camaro pump), I should have all the parts I need in order to complete the build now.

To those who told me that building a good fuel system was going to cost a butt-load, you were definitely right!

I'm seriously just kidding, man. Sorry if I caused any undue distress. Your ride is excellent.
