Yep pretty sad but it still fishes good. The only usable boat ramp is at the 380 bridge

It will be back to normal in a few years.

I've done a lot of crappie fishing under that bridge.
You remember the stories John use to tell us about the the three chinamen playing Fantan? This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

The upside is you can now go get all the shit you dropped off the docks into the water.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I heard Geraldo is en route with reports of the possibility of Jimmy Hoffa being found.

I don't think I'll ever buy lake front property in this day and age.

A lady my wife did some work for lives on the lake in runaway bay and said the tax appraisal office is trying to tax them on the land that use to be under water.

My IT guy is in the same boat. He has land around Possum Kingdom Lake. They were fighting the "Lake Front" value since it wasn't lake front anymore so the county hit them with the extra land.

For a little perspective, lake Oroville is 10 times as low, at 200 feet down. The top ramp to the right is the original, and even the extension down below was dry at the beginning of the year. Been like this for almost 5 years now, El Nino needs to hook a brotha up with some rain. These are 2-story houseboats, not a party cove.

There very well may be no wakeboarding/surfing at all next year.
