Yeah, they are bad ass. The V8 is awesome and the V6 is the single best sounding V6 I've ever heard.

Awesome, if their value retention stays the same, wait 8 years and it will be $10k

That's no lie. Jags have horrible resale. Those cars do sound good!

That would be my plan if I were to get one. I would consider a lease but they are $750 a month with $5000 down. It that shows how much they think of their residuals...

In fact, looking at the details of that lease it says: Based on MSRP of $69,925 (includes destination and delivery) with a residual value of $41,955 as of 5/1/2014

So they think it will be worth $42K after three years and 30K miles..

Lol yep. 1/3rd of its value in 3 years, right on par with their current value retention numbers, which is where that comes from. They are the worst of all vehicles that I see.

I guess it has to do with manufacturers building to suit their clientele, but a 10 year old "luxury" car (the ones that go through the auction I'm at, anyway) are either some whored out POS', or nearly perfect. There just isnt any in between.

That's funny, I just configured one on their website last night, and with the options I wanted it came out to about $105k and some change.
