It's a 4,000 sq ft home. Hardly balling - but I realize the land is pretty high and is about to plummet.

thats not my point. If you have choo-choo money, you should have money/insurance for shit like this put aside.

Even if they have choo choo money and cowskin rugs all over the house, it sucks that they are losing their house like that.

And members of this board, obviously.

Everyone should do that whether it's a $40,000 house or a $40,000,000 house (or any other material possession).

No shit. Jealousy is a bitch, apparently. His thoughts on the matter echo that of typical underachieving democrat.

Looks like they vacated the home in the pictures. Hell someone has already taken the AC units too. They built it closer to the edge than I would have.

It's highly possible that insurance will not cover something like this.

I'm sure the local meth heads will make sure those are recycled properly.

I'm willing to bet the policy wasn't written for this sort of scenario...

Earth movement is typically not covered in this area.

the pics from a couple days ago showed the AC units falling off the cliff, I'm sure they are in the water by now

The news report I saw said that they vacated a couple of weeks ago. They live in Florida and this was I guess a summer house. They said the Corp has been in contact with them to discuss the cleanup efforts that they will need to pay for when it finally all falls in.

I wonder what the land is worth once this is all done? I wonder how it will affect the value of the neighbor's properties. I would be one nervous sonofabich living next door just watching and waiting for when it finally drops off. I bet it will feel like an earthquake. I hope somehow it all gets caught on film.

Looks like they are closer to the front of the house to me.

Am I seeing shit, or is there a HUGE visible crack on the surface going all the way through running down from the house?
