There are pictures floating around of the house when it was first built.. Actually just look it up on google earth.. Had a porch and a little bit of a yard.
In the last 5-6 years there have been some giant chunks that have fallen off some of the cliffs. The highest cliffs on the lake are actually the lake border of our neighborhood and a sizable amount fell off 2-3 years ago of one of them. There used to be a road on the edge of our bluff (closed before my parents built which was 22 years ago this spring) and the chunk that fell off is about a car wide and 2 cars long. It's still a huge bluff and wouldn't look any different to anyone that didn't know it any better. Since a lot of them have fallen in the last few years I wonder if it has anything to do with the huge fluctuation in lake levels for the last 5 or so years?
If I remember saturday morning I will take my camera and take some pictures from the water of the house in question (from a distance ) and the big chunk missing out of the bluff in our hood.
