              The first 3 are a KC-135, the ones lined up on the ground are C-17s.

                  Location: Altus AFB, Oklahoma. It's the lead-in training base for new C-17 crews.
                  The KC-135 is an "R" model with the larger CFM-56 high bypass fan engines...

                            I was stationed there as a KC-135R Instructor Nav for 3 years back in the day. Passed through Altus last month on my way to the rattlesnake roundup in Mangum. It looks like Val's is still happening...
