For guys like me, yeah, expensive. I'm good, but not anywhere near that fast. You've pretty much got to be the top 30-50 shooters in the world to no longer pay for your ammo.

            Good deal.

I'd just be more impressed with a relatively stock gun for "realistic" conditions. It's one thing to see a person do something with specialized, souped up equipment. It's more impressive when it's something an average Joe can get and they do the same/similar performance. That's all.

All the gear on that gun shave's off 0.10 second here and there...and then there's the talent behind it.

Someone in this thread thinks they are cool

Might be the guy above me, who happens to be the same guy who went out of his way to quote himself.

Ok, here's the 2013 USPSA production champion... (iron sights, 10rd mags, normal holsters, etc)

What mods do they do with the pistols? Any worth average joe gun guy would do? Watching these post around here are peaking my interest. Guns can be like little hot rods

                          on the race guns:
                          - the slide is milled for less mass to move, which in turn allows for 'lighter' rounds to be run.
                          - flared mag well, makes mag changes easier
                          - spring and trigger work, adds a more sensitive trigger

for the most part these are not self defense guns anymore they are more like back half drag cars

Yeah that sounds like a bunch of chassis mods on a car for sure.

Nope. Changin things up on a gun or car chassis to get faster results isnt much different.
