Wow! Sad to say but I haven't been on here since the switch from dfwstangs. Decided to start fresh with a new user name, etc.

Anyway... I drove this home from Baton Rouge yesterday. Found it on a Lightning forum and decided to make the trip. It's a 95 with a 3/4 drop and a shift kit. Everything else is pretty much stock. I've never had a 351 or a Lightning for that matter. This thing is pretty fun to drive. Any Gen 1 fans out there?

Yeah, I don't really plan on doing anything to it right now. Just driving it to work and back. It would be fun to just put a little shot of nitrous on it, but I don't know how the stock setup would handle that... okay I guess...

I paid $9,900 for it. The prices for these things are all over the place and I know that's way more than Blue Book. I've seen really clean ones with low low miles listed around $18,000 and I've seen high mile beat up ones listed around $4,000.

I felt this one was worth what I paid given that it's clean inside and out and only has 83,000 miles. Plus it already has the drop kit, Rancho ladder bars, nice stereo (amp, all new speakers, head unit, and a sub), a shift kit, new tires, and it has the factory middle seat which I wanted.

I'd definitely leave it as it is. Clean truck, dig the white.

It should handle a little dry shot, just fine.

                        Yup, all day long.

This thread makes me miss my 94, best vehicle I ever owned.

Very nice truck. I can't imagine the fuel mileage being very good on them though for daily driving. I used the fuel argument to justify getting me a 2014 Stang instead of continuing to daily drive my 04 suburban LOL. Very nice truck.

I concur. Out of my ten owned vehicles, the lighting was my favorite. All mine had was some trans work and a muffler upgrade. Powersliding, tire frying sumbitch.
