Deer in Wimberley

I stayed out in the middle of BFE (near Wimberley) and snapped a few pics of some of the deer. There were at least half a dozen every morning. I have to give the hill country two thumbs up for a peaceful respite from the world.

I have a friend that lives out that way. His house is up in the middle of nowhere and you will see stuff like that all the time. Deer will come right up to his house.

There's deer everywhere out there. Almost hit a couple when I lived in San Marcos. They're almost a nuisance. Wimberly is a pretty cool little town. Used to go play disc golf a LOT there. One of the nicest DG courses in the nation from what I understand.
