Antarctic DC-3 Recovery

A buddy of mine, Jake, passed away back in '08. As I understand it, one of Jake's dad's clients had recently purchased "Glacier Girl". Jake was an aviation student and was huge into flying so the owner of "Glacier Girl" did a few flyovers during Jake's celebration of life. I don't know that all of the people there truly appreciated what they were seeing at the time.

While I can appreciate the turbo prop conversions done on those airplanes it just does not sit right with me.
