Pfffttt. Welcome to 25 years ago. Approx 200' of range as long as I carry a gallon of water around? I can control my hooptie from the moon with the Smartstart phone interface.

Speaking of key fob tricks, I was at the Ford service dept. this morning and was asking why my fob won't unlock the doors unless I press the button 127 times. Guy popped the fob open with a pocket knife, removed the battery and said the heat from being in your pocket causes a film to develop on the battery, so just wipe that off and gently wipe off the contact area the battery sits in.

Fucker was right! Works like a charm again!

He said it was some vaseline like coating they use in case you drop the key in water, it's suppose to help prevent it from shorting out and still work. But, keeping it in your pocket, eventually it warms up enough to sorta run and coat the battery contact making it not work as well.
