gt500 axle back

so i ordered gt500 axle back exhaust for my gt and it shows up but this is in one of the boxes. any ideas what it is for? it's not like i am pulling o2 sensors from the front. haven't crawled under the car to look but maybe one of you might know. just want to make sure either i don't need it or i need a second one and want to know before i start the install on thursday.

I think it was accidentally dropped in, whatever it was meant for. There would be two if it were for the O2 bungs, and that would be included in full h-pipe system, not just axle-back.

It's a noise damper. Throw it down the back of the driver side muffler to help eliminate highway speed/2000 RPM drone.
