Skylines are bad ass! I used to hang out with the guys from CTC motorsports back int he day. They had one they were working on, the owner said it would break the tires loose @ 70 on the highway with no problems.

Correct. That's David's car the owner of Tritek in Garland, it's a big single, built car over 1000rw on kill. He's a really nice guy who will talk to anyone interested in the car. The car has a pretty interesting history behind it. It's one of 100 legal imported cars through a company that managed to get them legal before the EPA shut them down. The car is worth well over $100k and gets crazy attention everywhere it goes.

Super rare. Very few get imported from the us. Japan has strict importing regulations. Word from the USA is that they're getting tracked down and destroyed.

They ended getting shut down because they were ripping people off who had paid for a skyline but never got one due to the stricter rules that were being imposed.

Yup, they had more than one trim package. The gtr is one of the top of the line ones. Not all skylines are bad ass.. 70% of them were 4 doors it seemed like.

Just like a mustang there were many different models. They had base models that were N/A only rear drive and all the way up to gtr nismo versions.

majority of the skylines are non Turbo cars, in fact the R32's are starting to be hard to come by, for a clean car anyhow. They are fucking rust buckets out there.

They had AWD non GTR's as well, I think they were the GTS4's...

An accord over there is called an inspire and has an inline 5 cyl... that's what my wife drove. Trying to remember the name of the civic...

A lexus ES300 was a windom... etc, etc... They can be had for wicked cheap though.

All the Yakuza near kadena were rolling blacked out american cars though... typically w/ all 8's on the plate.
