Still very sad for the Challenger crew....I remember watching that one live on TV at school.

Same here.. As with many other school kids all around the country. All tuned in because of Christa McAuliffe.

....and an o'ring that they knew was a potential problem for ~9-years prior.

This is in poor taste, but popped in my head as soon as I started thinking about the Challenger, yesterday:

What was the last thing Christa McAuliffe said to her husband before take-off?

            Anyone?

I remember some really dumb jokes from that time. I was nine.

Where did Christa McAuliffe spend her summer vacation? All over Florida.

NASA - Need Another Seven Astronauts

There were others, but they were even worse.

Did you hear that Christa McAuliffe had dandruff?

They found her head and shoulders on the beach.

Did you know that Christa McAuliffe was blue eyed?
One blew left and one blew right.

What were Christa McAuliffe's last words?
                    "What's this button do?"

Did you know why there was only one black crew member on Challenger?
They didn't know it was going to blow up.

Did you know that NASA has a new space drink?
Ocean Spray - It was their second choice because they couldn't
                    get 7-UP.
