Every city that spends millions to build up and host the Olympics ends up never getting a return on the investment in infrastructure.
Next they'll try and host it in Africa as a "stimulus" package.

The difference between Athens and Sochi is that the Athens buildings are still standing after 10 years. With all that shoddy construction, those buildings in Sochi will start coming down in less than a year.
Any politician that asks to bring the olympics to DFW should be shot for stupidity after this mess. Chicago is lucky they didn't get in on the action.Comment
