A similar year 12v would work circles around that Ford.

If I had the $$$ I would gladly pay 10grand for this truck. it is so much more truck then what you can buy for 10g's on a car lot. I do wish it was a 302/auto w/od but that would do just fine.

My old 95 F150 was high miles, but clean as hell. Had it up for $3000 and had some guy offer me $1K for it because that's what blue book said. My response was less than polite, but it turned out to be a kid that didn't know anything about cars asking. I felt bad about it, so I apologized and informed him that the KBB is just a base guideline, sometimes high, sometimes low.

I can sell a hell of a lot of truck for 10K off my car lot. That F150 is nice, but at the end of the day, it's a poorly optioned work truck.

$9500 for a stripped to the bone work truck with a 6 cylinder and 5 speed? PASS! I can't get that for my 2004 Suburban with 5.3 V8 and fresh transmission.

Those trucks still have quite a following....I do think this one (even though very low miles) is pretty high.

I sold my last one in 2 days for asking price...and the guy drove in from out of state to pick it up. Didn't even ask me to take less.

Engine wise I just don't care for anything from the 80's to about 1998. To pay amount that for it would be silly. (there are a few exceptions)

I don't understand why people knock long beds. I don't think looks are sacrificed and they come in handy as work trucks.
