I have very little faith in an officers judgement of wreck speed. We had one list speeding as a factor on a wreck for one of our work trucks, pulled the gps and he was going 2mph over the limit. The other guy ran a stop sign and broad sided our truck.

When I had my wreck I was doing 40-50 and hit a car semi head on probably doing the same, it hurt like a son of a bitch and I was in the F250 vs a car.

This is why I quit hauling fuel. They dont have to be drunk to do stupid shit.
Sure go ahead and jump in my lane just in front of my bumper I only have 9200 gallons of gas.

ive seen truckers do equally dumb shit. like driving on a shredded tire with a cloud of smoke billowing out the back of their truck, completely oblivious to the fact. just kept on trucking even after several cars motioning to the moron to get off the road. talk about dangerous.

I'm about to quit also. The schedule is complete crap and its not really worth it.

That right there is a testament to how well built cars and trucks are today. 10 years ago that would have ended with the guy dying. I'm just happy he didn't hurt anyone else.

On the flipside, anyone see last weeks accident on 35E and Bush Parkway in Carrollton? A 2012 F150 rear ended a cement truck. As I drove by I could see that they had a blanket over the engine compartment. I think he was ejected through the windshield. Buckle up folks..
