I don't think it could hurt that much seeing as it barely gets past 10 mph now in first, and it's making all sorts of noise trying to keep at a minimum highway speed. From what I've read a 67-68 Mustang rear will swap in pretty easy. Also heard Mavericks and Explorers as well. Just hoping to keep it cheap and easy. Not sure of the spring perch width on those though...I haven't seen any numbers anywhere
