I have heard that before about paper mills, but what do they smell like and why do they smell so bad?

Ever been next to a pickle factory? You will hang yourself.

I used to drive by the one near/in Mansfield almost every day. I couldn't imagine living next to one.

I'm from Amarillo, so when we start to get some wind from that direction, we know the shits coming. hahaha

Yup. I lived in Canyon from 80-85. I remember my parents laughing every time I would complain about the stink when we drove through that area. Went through again on my way to Roswell a couple of years ago and it was just as bad as I remembered.

Try a train full of cow hides in the middle of summer. It starts oozing out of the containers. I got that shit on my glove and I puked 5 times after throwing my glove away and washing the skin off my hands. That shit is brutal!

Why do you think cowskin rugs are so valuable?

I was standing outside comfortably in short sleeves until a little before midnight yesterday and then woke up 9 hours later to 24 degrees and a frozen windshield. Got to love these damn west Texas weather swings.

My freshman year at TTU there was a day i remember wearing shorts and sandals to class then by 10pm there was a big snowball fight on campus and snowmen being built in Memorial Circle.
I finally figured out I had to finish classes by 11am or not start until after 1 in order to be properly dressed when I wen to AND when I got out of class. Nothing like carrying a heavy winter jacket walking all the way back across campus when it's 75 and sunny.
