Don't forget about the prison system that basically forces criminals to be even worst - even if they want to make positive changes...etc...etc.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

This is what I say all the time. Law enforcement is full of people who have no idea what they are doing in a technical sense. And then they act like fucking crybabies when they get called out on it. To further add insult to injury, morons like 03trublugt then blindly defend them to the point where they get sued and the taxpayers are on the hook.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Anyway, I can understand a LEO not knowing EVERYTHING there is to know. However, you'd expect a little better on traffic stops. Also, what is wrong with saying "I'm sorry, I was wrong." and then dropping charges...etc...etc?
I don't know other career fields, but it happens in mine. It's not pleasant, but it sure is better than making things worst for your own benefit.Originally posted by MR EDDU defend him who use's racial slurs like hes drinking water.

BUT, they weren't really safely pulled over. That was probably the precipitation of the whole situation.
I have issues with how everybody involved conducted themselves, but at the end of the day, I believe in our constitution, and I'm thankful that there are people out there fighting the good fight however small the battle.
I'm generally just tired of cops. Especially the fucks that think they are special because they have a shitty piece of polished metal on their chest.

I did contact the guy and give him the name of an attorney that is a 1983 specialist with ties to higher agencies.

On the flipside, there are still good officers, but the ones like the goobers in this video serve to validate the growing sentiment of disdane for Leos. Sigh...

The fact of the matter is that the entire situation could have been resolved with just a little courtesy. "I'm sorry sir, you are correct, you don't have to show us your ID since you weren't driving, we just stopped to make sure you and your wife are ok". Instead those two morons had to embark on the usual bigger dick contest.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Police have a very difficult job. They do not know who is a bad guy and who is a good guy; however, that does not mean that they should treat everyone as a bad guy right off the bat. Innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around, yet police seem to act as if everyone is guilty.
I know dozens of police officers, and except for a select few, I can say that they are all wonderful and caring people. Even though I have strong feelings about them, I strongly believe that each officer needs to be trained and evaluated as much as possible in order to ensure that these situations do not happen. Training does not need to be something ignorant either, like a written test. Instead, the training should be actors who are brought in to create random scenarios and really test the "on the spot" thinking of the officers.
The only way to learn is to experience, and the only way to truly grow is to be criticized for your actions.

Matt is a good dude. If I simply judged people only by what they posted on here I wouldn't be friends with half of the board members I hang out with. You can't entirely judge people by what they post. Sure you can. Especially when they are a cop with a supervisory position that goes on rampages threatening to kick the entire internets ass every time they are called on their bullshit. I know you've been registered a whole ten minutes, but you need to stop defending people who have a decade worth of idiotic bullshit posts just because you've met them. Trying to reduce the discussion to "everyone says dumb shit on the internet" just goes to show that you aren't taking the sum total of Matt's ridiculous ramblings for what they are and show, not even taking into account his blind denial of any type of personal flaws and empty logic. That fucking dipshit has more mental problems than even I do, and that is seriously saying something.
