  • New Toy....Jeep Wrangler

I sold my '92 LX over Christmas and finally got a Jeep a few weeks ago. Although I've owned Mustangs for 17 years now (and still have an '86 GT project), I've wanted a Jeep for a long time. I do a lot of hunting on my in-laws ranch and I thought a Jeep would be more fun with my 3 year old daughter and 1.5 year old son.

The Jeep is a really solid stock '99 Jeep Wrangler TJ Sport with only 66k miles, 4.0L I6, 5 speed, cold A/C & hot Heat, Dana 44 rear axle with optional 3.73 gears, traction lock diff, and 15x8 Canyon wheels with 30.5x9.5 tires. Looking forward to lots of good times ahead with this thing and over time plan to do some cool stuff to it.

    Marcus

Sweet. Ever since I got my Wrangler I have felt absolutely no need to get a different vehicle. Versatile, reliable, and an unbeatable resale.

      Welcome to the dark side!

No Land Cruiser, but it's nice. Congrats on the low mileage purchase!

very nice! d44 and 3.73s is a good score. You'll be able to put a small lift and some 33s and not hurt anything at all.

I paid $8500. Based on what I've seen on the market the past 3 months, I think I got a really good deal. I had to drive to New Braunfels to get it. It was on CL for $9000. Clean carfax, no rust, really solid Jeep. My plan is to eventually do about a 3" lift, 32" or 33" A/T or M/T's on the stock Canyon wheels (with wheel spacers), and have fun.

gotcha, trophy is a good customer of mine in New Braunfels, and he always has pretty nice jeeps.
