NB 75 at Meadow (between Walnut Hill and Royal), I was in the right center lane going maybe 50 or so. There was an SUV about the size of a Pathfinder immediately in front of me that performed an evasive lane change. When I realized he was swerving to miss a car, it was too late. I slammed on the brakes, but couldn't stop in time. I don't know what my speed was on impact, but it pushed that car into the one in front of her and deployed my airbags.

I didn't feel the airbag, but could sure smell it. I still smell like it. I am fine, but will be sore in the morning. I can already feel where the seat belt caught me across my chest.

Damn dude I actually heard it happen. Saw the fire trucks, etc. head there.

I work security at the office building next to dave ad busters and was chillin outside right then.

It was about 6:30, so yeah, that was me! Although there was another wreck behind mine that was cleared before the flatbed got there to load mine up.

If for some reason it is NOT totaled, I will take the opportunity to put a different hood (95 Cobra R style) and bumper cover (maybe 99/01 Cobra or 03/04 Cobra) on it.

what year is the car? my buddy had an '04 2v that deployed both airbags and they totaled it and his was less damaged than yours. his insurance lady said in the bags deploy they typically total it. sux to hear about your car.

It's not a Bullitt knob, just a "billet" piece I picked up at Dallas Mustang a couple of years ago for about $10.

I'll strip whatever I can off of it if they total it. It has a MGW shifter in it too.
