new daily - 2001 Sierra C3

Picked this up a couple days ago. My Mustang will be spending a lot more time in the garage now. 2001 GMC Sierra C3 (denali) 6.0 all wheel drive. 1 owner. 21,000 miles. I already replaced the tires due to age. Cleaned the mass air sensor and throttle body. Installed a new air filter. Going to be changing all fluids next week and fuel filter. Tint will be getting darker next week too. Took the GM nerf bars and GM mud flaps off last night, looks better imo. It has a GM tonneau cover and Bedrug. The drivers seat has a bit more wear than I would like but maybe I will change that later. Might do exhaust intake and tune in the summer. Getting descent mpg too. Got 19 doing 65 and 17 doing 70. Can't decide if I am going to do drop shackles or just remove the rear block but it is coming down an inch or two in the rear.

not rolled. 78 year old man that had more money than brains. it was in climate controlled storage. it still had the original tires on it when i picked it up.

he is a business owner and has multiple work and personal trucks/cars/vans at his disposal to use. this was just one of his toys.

thanks. the c3 is new to me. kinda remember them back in the day but never knew much about them. hated the quadrasteer trucks and never gave these a second thought because of the association. something like 9800 made in 2001 and then changed to denali from what i have found.

i wish. i do 15-20,000 a year personal and around 35,000 in my work truck. it gets old.

if i did exhaust it would be a nice corsa system but those aren't cheap and i am now broke.

I do 80-120k/yr, and the wife does 22k... I guess it makes sense that my life revolves around vehicles as we drive them so much! LOL

on a vehicle that original, that clean, and that low mile? that would be the ONLY way to go IF you're going to do exhaust

but man, you're going to pick up 5-10hp tops? leave it 100% OG, put a tune on it, and enjoy

i paid $15,000. i looked up values and due to the low production they are all over the board. kbb puts it over $20,000 and nada right at $12,000. looked up a same year and mileage sierra slt z71 and it came out to $15,000 so that is the number i went with. he had it on ebay and didn't reach reserve. got to $14,077 and had a buy it now for $18,700. i contacted and went to look at it. he wanted $17,000 but accepted $15,000. i know it is a lot for a 13 year old truck but for a 1 owner 21,000 awd loaded sierra i think it is descent.
