When I think daily driver, buying a vehicle that wasn't taken care of and needs an engine isn't really what comes to mind.
Atlantic Blue '00 - '03 Cobra motor and TKO600, solid axle, full MM suspension
        Silver '01 Vette - D1 blown LS

The new tires on it are worth half of what you paid lol. They still smell like a tire shop.

The previous owner put on new tires, didn't check his oil, and blew it up a couple of hours later...

It's a GMC truck. It can be fixed with sticks and stones.

Most people wouldn't considered daily driving a '91 coupe with 206k miles h/c/i, random nitrous hits and over 150 passes at the track over the last 4 years either. It's been my only car for a while and it's been great. Lol I don't mind working on my stuff, much rather be in the garage getting pissed then inside sipping tea thinking about how great my life is.

Lol isn't a big deal to me, but I agree with you for the average folk.

                Congrats on the $6k+ truck.

That's a solid deal Mike. What's a rebuild going to run you?

Looking for a lq9 pull out. Generally run around 800/1200 ish..plus odds and ends should be on the road for 3k total investment or so. It's just finding one.

If you're that worried about it, I will buy it off from you. Hell, if you want a daily, I will trade you a 2000 5.0L mountaineer for it.
