I remember going near there when I rode with a friend delivering aircraft parts to So Cal. I told him I wanted to go there one day. He said don't bother, it stinks like dead fish.
My friend took me to a 'massage parlor' instead then paid for my visit.
That was in August of 1977, the week Elvis died (the other Elvis).

Never heard of it. I love finding out about these kinds of places. I have a strange fascination with old ghost town type places mainly from the 50s and 60s.___________________________________________
